Our infrastructure advisory team can draw on RSM’s united network of members to provide you with the specialist advice and innovative models you need - whatever your industry or geography.
The label ‘infrastructure’ belies an enormous market, covering everything from social infrastructure at one end to transport, energy, and economic infrastructure at the other. While infrastructure tends to conjure images of concrete assets, all assets in fact require some ongoing maintenance and operation. Many come bundled with affiliated services, without which the value of the asset can be quite different.
We operate throughout this market, providing a wide range of advisory and modelling services to our clients. We often advise on the available options to best marry the delivery of the infrastructure with the associated services that are to be provided. In this, we can help to draw the boundaries between the roles of the different counterparties.
The range of services we provide includes:
- assessing the financial and commercial feasibility of projects;
- project management;
- international tax and accounting expertise;
- financial modelling, model assurance and analysis;
- risk and value for money analysis;
- bid preparation and evaluation;
- financial structuring and fundraising; and
- deal structuring and negotiation support.
Most recently, we have been particularly active in the renewables and healthcare spaces. In the former area, we have been helping developers structure and bring projects to market. We have advised clients on a range of areas, including project feasibility in light of evolving government support, on structuring, and on fundraising (both equity and debt).
In the healthcare arena, we work closely with the sector specialists in our consulting practice to advise private and public sector clients on new models for healthcare delivery. We have advised clients on models of collaboration and worked with them to discover how best to align interests and risks.
