RSM scales new heights as part of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Diamond Challenge

Duke of Edinburgh Diamond challenge

RSM staff have joined a host of celebrities in scaling the UK’s highest mountain – in Covent Garden.

The ‘mountain’ - an 8 metre climbing wall - was erected in London’s busy Covent Garden to celebrate the launch of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Diamond Challenge (DofE).

The event, held as part of the DofE’s Diamond Anniversary, launched the charity’s Diamond Challenge which is aimed at getting people of all ages to take on a new skill or challenge in 2016. As part of their special year, RSM has been named one of the DofE’s Headline Diamond Partners.

The RSM staff were split into teams and together with members of the public and celebrity supporters such as Davina McCall, John Culshaw and Julia Bradbury, scaled the combined height of the summit of Ben Nevis.

Martin Rodgers, Chairman of RSM in the UK said:

‘RSM has a long standing relationship with the DofE and I am extremely proud that we continue to support such a worthy cause. Today’s event was not only a lot of fun but a great way to see the charity launch its Diamond Challenge, well done to Team RSM for rising to the occasion!.’
