Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Chris Nobbs as a partner to support and grow the firm’s business advisory arm in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. The appointment boosts support for RSM’s mid-market clients in the region, many of whom are facing significant challenges due to the pandemic.
Chris brings extensive experience of supporting SME and mid-market clients to RSM, particularly in the hospitality and leisure sector, as well as automotive and care. He is highly adept at advising clients on growing their businesses successfully, while maintaining strong financial reporting disciplines.
Chris previously worked for EY as associate partner in the audit team. His responsibilities there included developing tailored solutions to improve reporting compliance, providing advice to fast-growing entrepreneurial clients, and integrating technological solutions to streamline audit processes. He will be based at RSM’s Milton Keynes office.
Chris Nobbs said: ‘I am looking forward to getting to know clients and building strong relationships with them to support them through this period of great uncertainty. There are many companies with great underlying business models facing an exceptionally challenging time in the short term, so I want to do all I can to work alongside these clients and help them weather the storm.’
Adam King, managing partner at RSM’s Milton Keynes office, commented: ‘Chris’s experience in supporting mid-markets clients will be invaluable as we guide them through an exceptionally turbulent time. His innovative approach in delivering bespoke technological, financial and compliance solutions make him a great asset to the RSM team.’
