Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has strengthened its tax practice in Scotland by appointing a new corporate tax partner, based in the Edinburgh office.
Ross Stupart joins RSM from KPMG where he was a director in the tax team, principally advising privately owned UK and multi-national businesses.
He has a wealth of experience advising clients with a range of tax issues including acquisition and disposals; business succession; optimising tax relief claims; business restructuring and re-organisation; and international tax. With over 18 years’ experience, Ross has developed expertise working with the leisure and hospitality, construction, retail, food and drink and manufacturing sectors.
In his new role, Ross will provide tax advice to a growing number of corporate clients and their owners, and work closely with the team to grow the practice and its offering.
