In response to its recent rapid growth, RSM in Gatwick has appointed its first indirect tax director.
Justine McInnes, who is qualified as a solicitor and chartered tax adviser, has almost 20 years’ experience of working in indirect tax, mainly spent in Big 4 firms working with large corporate clients.
She has experience in many areas of indirect tax, with particular expertise in the financial services and real estate sectors, as well as in the area of indirect tax litigation and dispute resolution.
As well as VAT, Justine specialises in insurance premium tax and has experience of advising on other indirect taxes such as customs & excise duties and environmental taxes.
Kirsty Sandwell, office managing partner at RSM in Gatwick said:
‘I’m delighted to welcome Justine to the team. She will play a key role in assisting our current clients to maximise their indirect tax opportunities, and her experience should also prove invaluable to large corporates within the ‘Gatwick Diamond’.”
