From Afghanistan to accounting – exam success for Stoke–based Liam

An RSM tax assistant and ex-soldier who served in Afghanistan has achieved the highest mark in the country for his Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) examinations in corporate tax. Liam Nicholson, who is based in RSM’s office in Stoke, was awarded the ATT’s ‘Stary Medal’ for achieving the highest distinction mark and is now a fully qualified Accounting Technician. 

Prior to joining RSM, Liam served in the army and completed a tour of Afghanistan in 2009/2010 with 28 Engineer Regiment.
