Bury St Edmunds tax adviser wins national apprenticeship award

A tax apprentice from RSM’s Bury St Edmunds office is celebrating after winning a national apprenticeship prize.

Marion Denby, who hails from Bury St. Edmunds, was awarded the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) 2017 Apprenticeship prize after achieving the highest national score in her November examinations.

The award was presented by Graham Batty, the President of the ATT at a special reception in London.

Marion joined RSM as a tax apprentice in August 2016 after taking her A levels at County Upper School. She is currently working in the firm’s private client team and is working towards becoming fully ATT qualified. 

Laragh Jeanroy, office managing partner at RSM in Bury St Edmunds said:

‘Marion is very diligent and has worked incredibly hard towards her ATT exams, so this award is well deserved. This is a fantastic way for her to begin her career in tax and I’m sure it will stand her in good stead for the future.’
