Our selection process aims to find out more about your skills and experience, but it’s also a chance for you to discover more about us.
When to apply
Our intake opens in September with closing dates each month. We also have a smaller intake in January, but this varies by location. Vacancies will close once they are filled, so make sure you apply as soon as possible. Start your story today.
The first step is to fill out the relevant job application on our website. This will ask you about your educational achievements, work experience and why you want to join our team. It should only take around an hour to complete and, whatever the outcome, you’ll hear back from us within five working days.
During the second stage you’ll be asked to complete some timed online tests that will assess your numerical and verbal skills. There are plenty of training resources available online so you can practice beforehand. You have seven days to complete these assessments.
You will be invited to an online video assessment. This is so we can get to know you a little better and if you will be the right fit for RSM. Don’t panic – you will have five days to complete the video interview and have plenty of time to practice.
During the fourth stage you’ll visit our offices and meet our senior leadership teams. You’ll be interviewed by a manager and then a partner. Be prepared to tell us more about your achievements and career outlook. But also make sure you ask plenty of questions so you can find out more about the firm and whether it’s the right fit for you.
You may also be invited to our assessment centre for a day. There will be a series of group exercises and you could be asked to make a short presentation. During the lunch break you’ll get to meet current students who will answer any questions you may have so you can get a better picture of life at RSM.
